Sharjah: Sharjah Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 32-year-old Indian woman.
The 32-year-old woman, identified as A.M., was found hanging in an apartment in Al Nahda area.
Sharjah Police immediately moved to the site of the incident on receiving information of the death.
The Public Prosecutor has asked for the body of the deceased to be moved to the forensic laboratory to establish if this is suicide or a criminal act.
Al Buhairah police station is investigating the incident.
Sharjah Police are also investigating the death of a 35-year-old Pakistani worker who was found dead in a labour accommodation located in Industrial area No 12. The incident was reported to the Sharjah police operations room on Saturday at around 9am. The body moved to the forensic laboratory to determine the cause of death.
Police investigations are ongoing.
