Sharjah: A man was found hanging in his house on Monday night, a police official said.
The 34-year-old Emirati man was already dead by the time officers arrived at the scene, a police official said.
The man was found by his family who reported the incident to police.
The official said the operations room at Sharjah Police received a call informing them about the incident at the man’s home in Al Soor area. An ambulance, police patrol and forensic laboratory personnel reached the scene to investigate the incident.
The man’s body was sent to hospital and then to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
The reason behind the suicide is not clear, police said.
Family members were summoned by police for questioning.
The investigation continues.
