Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Police arrested a group of eight, including three women, for possessing 500 grams of drugs.
They were promoting the consumption of crystal drugs among youngsters, Abu Dhabi Police said on Sunday.
Lieutenant Taher Gharib Al Dhaheri, Director of Combating Narcotics Department, said preliminary reports led to the arrests.
Investigation revealed the group trafficked drugs for use at gatherings among younger people, Lieutenant Al Dhaheri said.
Immediately the police formed a team to combat and bust the drug peddlers.
