Duba: Two Pakistani men wanted for two separate murders in their home country were handed over by Dubai Police to the Pakistani authorities.

Major General Khalil Ebrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant to the Dubai Police Chief for Criminal Investigation affairs, said the two men were arrested in Dubai.

A.M. and S.A. were tracked down by the Department of Wanted Persons at the Criminal Investigation Department.

“The Interpol had issued a red warrant for the two suspects on a request from the Pakistani authorities. They were both handed over to the Pakistani authorities on Thursday,” Maj Gen Al Mansouri said.

Major Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Deputy Director of the Department of Wanted Persons, said that the red warrant was issued sometime last March, and the authorities had provided Dubai Police with the murder case files with incriminating evidence against the two men.

Police did not divulge whether either or both suspects were involved in the Imran Farouqi murder case.
