Dubai: Essam Eisa Al Humaidan, Dubai Attorney General, has ordered the imprisonment of suspects arrested in the Al Warqa murder incident.
Dubai Public Prosecution has already commenced investigations into the case, and Al Humaidan has ordered setting up an investigation team led by Public Prosecutor Yousuf Foulad, head of Deira Prosecution.
Four men were arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Al Warqa that led to the death of an Emirati man.
Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai Police Chief, confirmed that an Emirati man was killed and three others were injured in a fight involving knives and swords. The injured were rushed to Rashid Hospital.
The attorney general said the suspects have already been questioned, and the public prosecution has charged them with murder.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident. The results of the investigation will be announced upon completion of the probe.
