Cairo: The UAE is attending the sessions of Arab League's Permanent Committee for Legal Affairs, which commenced here on at the Arab League Secretariat General headquarters, the official UAE news agency WAM reported.

The UAE is represented by Yaqoub Al Hosani, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ali Al Shamili, an official in charge of the Arab League at the UAE Embassy in Cairo.

The Committee, headed by Hammoud Ramahi, Minister Plenipotentiary, Deputy Head of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Berlin, legal experts and Arab League Assistant Secretary-General for Legal Affairs, Wajih Hanafi, will meet for three days.

It will discuss the Arab Draft Convention to regulate the conditions of refugees in the Arab region and Statute of the Administrative Court of the Arab League.

The Committee will submit the recommendations of the 143rd session of the Arab League Council at the level of permanent delegates on 7th and 8th March in preparation for submission to the Arab Ministerial Council on 9th and 10th March to endorse them.
