Dubai: Josh Hartley describes himself as a 'PC gamer. geek, nerd, full time savior of galaxies ...'. Add to that overnight social media king.
Josh was on-board the Qatar Airways jet escorted into Manchester Airport by a British fighter jet after a 'suspect device' was reported.
He uploaded his blow-by-blow account live from the air via his Twitter account @JoshHartley_. His account was soon thousands of followers stronger.
The plane landed safely and a man was arrested for a suspected bomb hoax. But brave Josh didn't know that at the time.
He first reported the frightening affair with the ominous words 'Being escorted in' along with a picture of the Britsh fighter alongside the Airbus.

Soon he had uploaded a video of the jet to his instagram account joshhartley__

He followed this with a string of pictures showing emergency services waiting for the plane as it was brought in to land.

The Brit then reported his landing before appearing to ready himself with the simple word 'Right ...'.

The understandably shaken passenger shared his emotions with a few more tweets before he was allowed to leave the craft.

From Josh's next tweet, it seems the passengers were not being told much as news of an arrest for a suspected bomb hoak leaked out via news agencies.
Still not been told anything from police or staff of what happen.— Josh Hartley (@JoshHartley_) August 5, 2014
Don't think I want to board the same flight again on the 31st :(— Josh Hartley (@JoshHartley_) August 5, 2014
Josh reported that bags were to be searched before signing off with a thank-you for those who tweeted him with moral support.
I would like to say for those on the plane not able to right now, we thank you for all the support from you and we are all safe and well.— Josh Hartley (@JoshHartley_) August 5, 2014
