Dubai: Libyan National Army (LNA) spokesperson Colonel Ahmad Al Mesmari has revealed in a press conference held in Cairo on Wednesday, “Qatari attempts to destroy Libya and undermine its security”.

During the conference, Al Mesmari showed Qatari armoured vehicles fighting the Libyan army in Benghazi, and said “Doha bought weapons and sent them to Libya through Sudan.”  He was also quoted in press reports as saying “Doha brought weapons from Pakistan to send to Libya.”

Moreover, Qatar provided the terrorists with drones enhanced with cameras, and that the Libyan army confiscated rockets sent by Doha to terrorists in Benghazi.

Al Mesmari showed videos during which terrorists slaughtered citizens, and said the criminals were supported by Qatar.  “The Libyan Army has evidence that confirms the Qatari support to terrorist organizations in Benghazi.”
