Manama: The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science in Bahrain announced on Saturday the arrest of seven individuals suspected of being involved in an arson attack on a police patrol at the entrance of Deraz on Wednesday.
One policeman sustained minor injuries during the attack.
Bahrain News Agency quoted the Director-General of Criminal Investigation as saying that investigation by anti-crime units and other security teams led to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
Cameras with clips on the attack’s implementation phase were seized in addition to some other evidence.
He said that legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the public prosecution.
