“Ten days ago he had visited the residence of Janaki and threatened her that if she does not reciprocate his love, he will kill her,” Kukatpally police inspector V Prasanna Kumar said.

Janaki, who hails from Rajam mandal in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, was staying in a rented room with another woman, Rupa.
