covet!

Carolina Herrera’s Editor

We’ve got a soft spot for the Spanish designer’s handbags, so we probably would have loved this tote even if she didn’t call it the Editor. We’re a tad concerned that our editors’ lives are not nearly as glam as she describes in her notes, however: “Inspired by the lifestyle of the well-heeled fashion authorities travelling the CHic style capitals of the world”. Especially cool are the two removable pockets that snap together to create a separate pouch. Dh2,800, at CH boutiques.

Kendall Jenner’s H&M jumpers

It might be that the AC in our office is a tad high (come on, facilities!) but we are suddenly feeling a winter chill in the air. If you are too, combat it with a big jumper — luckily, looking warm is totally on trend right now. We love Jenner’s combo of quilted skirt and ankle boots. The jumper is H&M Studio A/W 14, Dh349.

style!

Taylor Swift’s heels

When you’re out to sell 800,000 records in a week, standing tall is a must-do. Which is why our Taylor never skips her heels, and although she’s raking it in with her chart-busting albums, she likes to shop the high street like the rest of us (ok, you can stop squealing now). So even if you’ve spent all your dirhams on buying 1989 and all her related memorabilia, you might still have some change left for her Immence sandals, available at Steve Madden stores for Dh439.

beauty!

Urban Decay’s Pulp Fiction collection

If you were even vaguely considering an ebola Halloween costume, don’t. Instead, go retro and celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pulp Fiction (yes, it’s been that long) by going as one of the characters — a super-easy costume idea that just got even easier with this collection from hard-edged beauty brand Urban Decay that will get you Mrs Mia Wallace’s look fast than you can say Royale with cheese. Items include an eyeshadow set (Dh130), a deep blood red lipstick (Dh100) and matching nail polish (Dh76). Find it at Sephora.
