Nada Debs

Looking to invest in some pieces for your home? Head to Comptoir 102 on March 18 to meet designer Nada Debs, who will be launching an exclusive collection of iconic and never-before-seen pieces from her 10-year-old brand at the store on Beach Road in Dubai. She blends Middle Eastern style seamlessly into modern design pieces. It’s from 6-9pm, while the exhibition runs from March 16-May 16.

lipstick!

Sabaya Velvet

Mikyajy’s just launched 18 shades of a matte, silky lippy in a chunky pencil format — perfect for all you wannabe Kylie Jenners (and much better than that dodgy lip-plumping gadget that keeps popping up on Facebook). The local beauty brand’s newest addition is hydrating, has Vitamin E and antioxidants and gives full coverage, for Dh35 a piece.

Cinderella!

The UAE’s shoe stores are going Cinderella crazy to celebrate the live-action Disney film, out now in UAE cinemas. Level Shoes District in The Dubai Mall has an exhibition of shoes by nine luxury brands reimagining Cinderella’s iconic glass slipper.

The shoes by Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, Rene Caovilla, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Charlotte Olympia, Jerome C. Rousseau, and Stuart Weitzman, are on display until March 24. Meanwhile Repetto — famous for their ballet flats — have created a range for princesses young and old called Cinderella Dream Ball, with slippers, a tulle skirt and bag. Finally, at Charlotte Olympia at Mall of the Emirates, the designer has created her own capsule collection dedicated to Cinderella, in stores now.

The If the Shoe Fits! platforms recreate her glass slipper in PVC and perspex, with Swarovski crystals; or chose the blue silk satin Swarovski court shoes Happily Ever After.

jewels!

Cadenzza

This new shop in Deira City Centre carries 40 international jewellery designers in one place. Think Oscar de la Renta, Ted Baker, Mawi London and Shourouk — the range includes timeless as well as fashion pieces. There are shops around the world from Austria to the UK to China, with the founders being the folks behind the Swarovski brand.
