The last news I read on Pokemon Go was about Justin Bieber going on a virtual monster hunt in New York and actually going unnoticed in the crowd. The Bieber going unmobbed? I know, right?

Now the Pokemon Go craze is catching on here in the UAE that a five-star hotel along Shaikh Zayed Road is offering players a sweet treat: catch a monster in the premises and get lunch or dinner on the house.

All throughout August, the Dusit Thani Dubai, which is actually a Pokemon Gym in the game, is giving a beverage upgrade to the first five buffet diners at its The Californian restaurant from Sunday to Thursday. All they need to do is catch a Pokemon monster in the hotel and take a photo to prove it.

For Pokemon Go fanatics who want to go on a monster hunt and get a free buffet, the hotel is running a Pokemon game from August 1 to 5. Players can just hop on the Dusit Thani Dubai guest shuttle bus, which will take them to 5 stops around the city. If they're lucky enough to catch one of 30 creatures there, the buffet is in the bag!
