Record Store Day is celebrating 10 years on April 22 with an impressive list of exclusive releases, reprints and first issue vinyl, to be sold at participating outlets, primarily in America. There’s something in it for the film buffs, too, including these five movie-related records releasing this year.

1. Star Wars: A New Hope

Star Wars: A New Hope, the first title in what has become an inimitable franchise, is celebrating its own anniversary — 40 years since its 1977 release. This 10” record has tracks from John Williams’ score: Main Title on side A and The Throne Room and End Title on Side B.

2. Blade Runner

Ridley Scott’s cult classic Blade Runner marks 35 years since its 1982 release. The film was scored by Vangelis, and the original soundtrack will be printed on picture disc for the first time.

3. Moana – How Far I’ll Go

Disney animation Moana became an instant favourite last year, partially for its highly listenable music written by Hamilton creator and overall genius Lin Manuel Miranda. This record will feature How Far I’ll Go sung by Auli’i Cravalho and You’re Welcome by Dwayne Johnson.

4. Space Jam: Music From and Inspired By the Motion Picture

If you stop and think about it, it’s pretty amazing how many bangers came out of the 1997 sports animation Space Jam. R Kelly’s I Believe I Can Fly tops the list. This two LP release will also feature tracks by Seal, Coolio, Sal N Peppa and Monica.

5. Pineapple Express

This is the first time that the soundtrack to Pineapple Express (2008), scored by Graeme Revell, will find itself on vinyl. The two LPs include tracks from Cypress Hill, Public Enemy and Bone Thugs’N’Harmony.
