Ed Sheeran’s concert film Jumpers for Goalposts will be showing at Vox, Novo and Reel cinemas on October 22, coinciding with a global release of the movie. The first screening in the UAE will take place at 11pm. Further screenings will be added between October 23-25.

The 98-minute film is shot in 4K Ultra HD, and combines the pop star’s three Wembley shows from July. They mark some of the biggest moments in Sheeran’s career as a performer.

In between clips of him singing his hits to 80,000 fans — and an onstage appearance by Elton John — Sheeran and those close to him look back on his road to success, and how he went from being relatively unknown to being a No 1 artist.

In some regions, the screening of the film includes a livestreamed performance from the world premiere in London’s West End. However, in the Middle East, only the recorded portions will be shown.

Tickets for showings at Vox cinemas can be purchased from October 8, either online or at the box office. Tickets for Novo and Reel cinemas will go on sale closer to the screening.
