The Dubai beach bar turns 21 on October 19, and is celebrating with a ’90s-themed party featuring rapper Coolio, fresh off his arrest for carrying a loaded weapon at a US airport.
Misbehaviour is a common theme at Barasti, which started as a shack next to Dubai International Marine Club, and has become an after-brunch must for many expats, including those who lost the aforementioned flip-flops (as counted by the management, who say most of them did not have a mate).
