IF IT’S YOUR BIRTHDAY TODAY

It’s said that misunderstandings lead to more extensive and, often, more informative discussions that simply chatting with those who you know and agree with. This is certainly reflected by the planetary setup in your birthday chart, which indicates you’ll be wrestling with a range of minor issues but, as much, major misunderstandings. This may not seem promising. But the fact is, what you learn while untangling those issues will apply to a range of troublesome situations.

Aries March 20 – April 19

For ages you’ve intended to explore certain places others have told you about, and which sounded a lot of fun. But something has always interfered. While this week’s twists and turns may also prevent you from getting there, the odds are good that other even more exciting events will be coming your way.

Taurus April 20 – May 20

Sometimes differences with others are no more than that, misunderstandings or increasingly diverging opinions. But those you’re facing now are because your perspective on one particular matter is so different from one other individual that you’re unlikely to find common ground. Acknowledge that, and everything else will be surprisingly easy.

Gemini May 21 – June 20

Between Thursday’s unsettling eclipsed New Moon and the series of tricky aspects being formed by your ruler Mercury and several planets over the coming week or so, even relatively simple arrangements are unlikely to go smoothly. Still, don’t put off everything. In several situations, the resulting clashes will prove surprisingly informative.

Cancer June 21 – July 21

Although the coming eclipsed New Moon doesn’t actually take place until Thursday, it would be no surprise if you weren’t already noticing a feeling of change in the air. While some of what arises will be no surprise, other developments could be as unexpected as, ultimately, they prove to be pivotal.

Leo July 22 – August 22

In order to discuss this week’s plans, we have to go back to the powerful Leo eclipsed Full Moon on January 31st. While every Full Moon brings feelings to a peak, this triggered events as surprising as they were disruptive, or so they seemed. Since then you’ve recognised these as timely breakthroughs.

Virgo August 23 – September 22

When your ruler Mercury moved to accents life’s details, two weeks ago, you began a cycle that was about dealing with exactly that. While some of these were already on your mind, you hadn’t realised others were pressing. Now, looking back you’re relieved you dealt with so much, so swiftly.

Libra September 23 – October 22

Understandably, you’re trying to sidestep a potential clash between certain individuals who, on the best of days, can be temperamental. Yet, bizarrely, once the issues involved are explained in detail, the mood is likely to be considerably less uptight. Knowing that, the sooner you discuss these matters frankly, the better.

Scorpio October 23 – November 21

With the Sun, Mercury and Thursday’s eclipsed New Moon all accenting the structure of your life, change is in the air. While there’s been talk of this for ages, a turning point has been reached. Knowing that, begin exploring your options, conscious they could soon begin to shape your future.

Sagittarius November 22 – December 20

In late January, the edgy and often impatient planet Mars moved into Sagittarius, to remain until mid-March. Being a fire sign, you already think and move swiftly. This means that, unless you’re careful, you could easily do or commit to something in haste, only to regret it at your leisure.

Capricorn December 21 – January 19

No sign is better at making plans, both regarding obligations and ensuring there’s time for family, friends and fun. Yet even you seem to have miscalculated and may have no choice but to disappoint others. Tempting as it is to hope things will work out, it’s unlikely. Discuss other options now.

Aquarius January 20 – February 17

Although everybody is influenced by Thursday’s eclipsed New Moon, the fact it’s in Aquarius means you’re probably already experiencing, if not dealing with, the changes it’s triggering. While some will be welcome, others may be more confusing than anything else. Still, over time, you’ll be thrilled they took place.

Pisces February 18 – March 19

Usually you have a strong sense of when to be patient versus those situations in which you need to be a bit pushy. But now it’s confusing. Judging by the current planetary setup, that’s no surprise. The trick is declare what you’re hoping for but, equally, acknowledge you may need to be patient.
