Men’s lifestyle portal Mr Porter and director Matthew Vaughn have joined hands again for a ‘costume to collection’ collaboration for the upcoming action film Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The partnership means the fashion label Kingsman, which was unveiled in 2015 following the release of the hit film, will again feature a full collection all from the costumes created by designer Arianne Phillips.

The entire luxury menswear collection will launch in September and include many of the original Kingsman categories and partner brands. Core pieces include Kingsman original tailoring; Turnbull & Asser shirting; Cutler & Gross eyewear; George Cleverley shoes; Drake’s ties and pocket squares; Mackintosh outerwear; Swaine Adeney Brigg umbrellas and leather accessories; Conway Stewart writing instruments; and Deakin & Francis cufflinks and small accessories.

The first film, Kingsman: The Secret Service, introduced the world to Kingsman — an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, the heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organisation in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. The two elite secret organisations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world. Kingsman: The Golden Circle stars original cast members Colin Firth, Taron Egerton, and Mark Strong, and introduces new cast members Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, Halle Berry, and Julianne Moore.

“Kingsman has become one of Mr Porter’s top performing luxury brands, six fashion seasons into its development and launch. We couldn’t have imagined its success, and we’re thrilled to be working with Matthew Vaughn and Arianne Phillips again on an even more diverse, and wearable collection,” says Toby Bateman, the managing director of Mr Porter.

Designer Arianne Phillips, the costume designer, adds: “Our next instalment brings us to where we continue our bespoke narrative with our elite British spies and also introduces a new set of characters to expand the Kingsman ‘costume to collection’. With our new characters and story line, I was allowed to explore new avenues with the costumes particularly with the Western influence of the Statesman characters. Not only have we established Kingsman as a legitimate men’s wear brand, but with each new film, we have more and more opportunities to grow the collection in boundless, and organic ways.”

The upcoming ‘costume to collection’ range for Kingsman: The Golden Circle will launch globally on Mr Porter in September 2017, alongside the global release of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The film is scheduled for an UAE release on September 21.
