Miss Universe runner-up Venus Raj wants to teach you how to walk.
The Filipino-Indian beauty titlist will conduct a modelling workshop as part of the Ramp Modelling Workshop in UAE 2016, where the Philippine representative to Miss Universe in 2010 will be joined by model and actor Mark McMahon.
The workshop will be held at the Intaleq Training Centre in Abu Dhabi from November 30-December 2, and a grand workshop will be held at the Al Jaheli Theatre at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi on December 3.
Organised by UAE-based company Brilliant Talents and Philippine modelling agency Mercator Artist and Model Management, the workshop is aimed at aspiring models.
Also conducting workshops at the event is Philippine “beauty queen maker” Jonas Gaffud, the man behind Filipino beauty queens including reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, former Miss Philippines and now Victoria’s Secret model Janine Tugonon, and Miss Universe runners-up Shamcey Supsup and MJ Lastimosa.
“The workshop gives the opportunity for kids aged 5-12, teens aged 13-17 and adults 18 and above to learn, acquire the skills and technique needed for a real ramp fashion show,” Bernie Mendoza of Brilliant Talents told tabloid!. “This workshop will advance what the kids have learnt from the Brilliant Talents basic training.”
