What if we tell you that you could meet internet sensation and Filipino comedian Jinky Anderson, better known as Madam Kilay, in the UAE this weekend?
The wacky, and often outrageous, performer is in the country for two stand-up shows that will be held on April 20 and 21 across Dubai and Fujairah.
The comedian, who has also had a brief stint in acting, will headline a show at the Rocky’s Cafe, Regent Palace Hotel on day one, while heading to Manila Beats, City Towers, Fujairah on the second day.
Kilay first gained popularity with her tongue-in-cheek Facebook posts that have gone viral on numerous occasions. Her posts usually feature conversations with her American husband ‘Afam’ or Paul Anderson and her flamboyant kilay (eyebrow) make-up; their love story was also chronicled in the anthology, Magpakailanman.
