Kadim Al Sahir is scheduled to perform at Dubai Opera on December 30. The Iraqi singer will be accompanied by a live orchestra for this Dubai Shopping Festival event.
Expect him to croon his popular hits, including Ana Wa Leila, Ini Khayyartoki, Zidini Ishqan, Qooli Ohibbuka, and Ahibbini.
“I am delighted to be performing at Dubai Opera, which has been hosting world-renowned shows. The venue is a true reflection of Dubai’s efforts to improve the quality of live entertainment,” said Al Sahir in a statement.
“It is an honour for me... to meet with my fans who have been loyal and supportive throughout my career,” he added.
The 60-year-old singer-songwriter has sold more than 100 million albums during his music career spanning 30 years. Al Sahir, who currently lives in Spain, has previously collaborated with Sarah Brightman on The War Is Over, along with Lenny Kravitz on We Want Peace, and Quincy Jones and RedOne for Tomorrow (Bokra).
Tickets for his concert, starting from Dh800, are now available.
