Singer Mick Jagger has reportedly agreed to a financial settlement with a young ballerina carrying his eighth child.
The baby is not due until December, but the 72-year-old star is thought to have already sorted out a child maintenance deal with Melanie Hamrick, 29.
Jagger has promised a five-figure sum every month to Hamrick. He has given her legally binding assurances, which include monthly payments of £11,400 (Dh54,997) and a promise to buy her a house wherever she chooses to live. The payments, up until the age of 18, would add up to £2.5 million.
Hamrick has been dating the Rolling Stones singer for two years. He has made it clear he does not intend to marry her. The dancer became pregnant during the band’s tour of South America earlier this year.
She currently lives in New York, but may buy a house in Connecticut, where her family lives, or in Los Angeles.
The rock icon already has four children with model Jerry as well as a daughter with former-wife Bianca Jagger, a daughter with Marsha Hunt and Lucas.
