Kevin Bridges returns to Dubai for an October 19 stand-up show, following a sold-out performance three years ago.

The 30-year-old Scottish comedian will perform at Dubai World Trade Centre as part of DXBLaughs.

“He has a huge fan base in this part of the world as we saw with the sold-out show in 2014 and [we] look forward to another sold-out show on October 19,” said Girish Bhat, managing director at Done Events, in a press release.

Before his last visit, Bridges told Gulf News tabloid! he planned to arrive a few days early to scout the location for potential jokes.

“I always think that when you’re doing gigs abroad, it’s good to come two or three days before a show just to go out and see the place and then you end up doing loads of material just about the area that you’re in,” Bridges said.

Tickets to see Bridges start at Dh295. DXBLaughs launched this year as a central hub for Done Events’ comedy-centric events, with its own online portal; English comedian Eddie Izzard kicked the initiative off in April, while John Bishop is set to perform after Bridges on December 14.
