Jennifer Lopez is ready to storm into Dubai once again, three years after her thunderous performance at the 2014 World Cup. The 47-year-old singer will perform live at the Autism Rocks Arena on November 17, with pre-registration for her concert tickets kicking off today.

The event, which is organised by 117Live, will see the Latino superstar jet into the emirate fresh off her Las Vegas residency, titled All I Have, and right before she heads into rehearsals for NBC network’s live musical telecast, Bye Bye Birdie, which will now air next year following her busy schedule.

Organisers of her Dubai show are promising a performance complete with ‘smash-hit singles, stunning costumes and breathtaking dance numbers’. Thomas Ovesen, CEO of 117Live spoke exclusively to tabloid! sharing more details on the concert and what they have in store for the 20,000 fans expected on the night.

“This will be Jennifer’s only show outside North America this year, so the event itself promises to be more of a party or a fiesta rather than a simple concert,” explained Ovesen. “The 90-minute set will include all her big tracks, starting from Jenny From the Block to her latest Spanish album Mirate.

“The show will also see shades of her Las Vegas residency, a complete dance intensive show with all her greatest hits.”

Ovesen also revealed this will be the largest stage act Dubai has seen in the Autism Rocks, Arena. He further explained: “The stage at the arena is the largest in the region, but acts such as Justin Bieber and Guns N Roses only use a certain portion of it. However, Jennifer will be coming in with a large team of back-up dancers that will need the space for the acts they are rehearsing for.”

According to Ovesen, the number of concertgoers has been capped at 20,000 to “make room for the show that has been planned.” When prompted further, he said details are still under wraps, but there will be a strong “Latin flavour to the festivities that are being planned before she comes on to the stage.”

Opening acts for the night have yet to be revealed, along with ticket prices, however, Ovesen added “they will be on par with the industry average.” Lopez, whose dancing prowess continues to wow fans even as she approaches 50, will also be toning down her daring on-stage ensembles for her Dubai concert.

With a career spanning over 18 years, she shot to fame with her number one hit single If You Had my Love, and has ruled the billboards ever since with chartbusters like Jenny From the Block, Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Waiting for Tonight. Her collaborations with some of the industry’s top names includeng Ricky Martin, Ja Rule, Pitbull, Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesias to name a few. Most recently, the singer stole the show at the Billboard Latin Music Awards when she premiered her new title song from her upcoming Spanish album Mirate. With pipeline projects ranging from her hotly anticipated Spanish album to a new TV series Shades of Blue to her reality dance show, World of Dance, JLo has quite a year ahead of her.
