Jackie Chan and his Kung Fu Yoga crew returned to Downtown Dubai this week to film a car chase on Burj Khalifa St.
The roads near the South Ridge Community were blocked off on Tuesday morning between 8 and 10am, as a fleet of Dubai Police luxury cars appeared to be chasing a yellow Lamborghini. Ambulances and trucks with film equipment could be seen on another road. Filming also took place on Monday at the same location.
Little is known about the script of Chan’s next film, except that it is an Indian-Chinese production, and that Bollywood actor Sonu Sood is in it.
Kung Fu Yoga is on a 33-day filming schedule in Dubai and the crew have been spotted all over the city’s landmarks since they arrived in September.

They presence coincides with the filming of a Hollywood blockbuster Star Trek Beyond.
Jamal Al Sharif, the chairman of Dubai Film and TV Commission and managing director of Dubai Studio City, told tabloid! in September that he was very excited to welcome Chan and his production team to the city.
“The UAE is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Hollywood and Bollywood productions, and the filming of Kung Fu Yoga in Dubai is another major boost for our film industry,” he said.
Update: After filming at Dubai’s key landmarks, Jackie Chan was spotted at the Burj Khalifa taking in the sights. The Dubai Film and TV Commission, which hosted a reception for the international star, posted the following photo.
