A star-studded golf event for a good cause will take place on October 26 at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

Westlife’s Brian McFadden, football player and manager Harry Redknapp, Rugby World Cup winner Mike Tindall and former New Zealand golfer Michael Cambpell will attend.

A gala will feature entertainment, dinner and a question and answer session. There will also be a prize raffle and auction, and a chance for attendees to play golf during the day with the event’s special guests.

There is still a spot available to the highest bidder for a chance to play in an amateur competition; the winner of the competition will get to tee off alongside the likes of Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson and Matt Fitzpatrick in the Rolex Pro-Am for the DP World Tour Championship, according to a press release.

Those interested can also bid for a chance to play golf or dine with the stars who are attending the Dubai event.

Proceeds will go to a charity fund to help treat two UAE residents: a 37-year-old man suffering from rectal cancer, and a two-year-old boy suffering from leukaemia.

Individual entry for the evening event is Dh395. A table of 10 is Dh3,500.
