Tamil film Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren directed by debutant Arumugakumar gives you a glimpse into this strange world and is touted as a comedy.

He plays Yaman, the leader of this gang of thieves.
Arumugakumar said that while robbery was a way of living for this community, they believed in values of humanity.
Gautham Karthik, son of Tamil actor Karthik, plays Harish — a college student who takes life easy.
“Harish is close to my heart,” added Arumugakumar, who has defined this role with incidents from his college days.
Niharika Konidela, Telugu actor Nagendra Babu’s daughter, makes her Tamil cinema debut. She is paired opposite Karthik Jr. Her character sets the film rolling.
Gayatri (of Naduvala Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame) plays a significant character as a tribal woman.
Arumugakumar dabbled in ad-films and corporate films. He assisted director Balaji Dharanidharan on the sets of Naduvala Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom before going solo.
“Situational comedy is the strength of the film,” said Arumugakumar.
Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren releases in the UAE on February 1.
