Director Radha Mohan’s new film, Uppu Karuvadu, features Karunakaran and Nanditha in the lead. For Karunakaran it’s a significant move from playing supporting roles until now.
Other cast members include M.S. Bhaskar, Mayil Samy, Kumaravel, Chams, Narayanan, Rakshitha, Saravanan. Choreographer Sathish plays a significant role.
Steve Vatz, a well-known Chennai guitarist, makes his debut as music composer for this film. Director Gautham Menon has sung the song, Puthu Oru Kathavu Thurakarthu (his first as a playback singer). Mahesh Muthusamy is the cinematographer.
Radha Mohan said, “This is a comedy with a good story that can be enjoyed by all.”
Uppu Karuvadu, produced jointly by Radha Mohan’s Night Show Cinemas and Ramji Narasimhan of First Copy Pictures, releases in India on November 27.
