Actress Vidya Balan, who was recently diagnosed with dengue, says she is on the road to recovery.
“Good morning all. Thank you for the genuine concern, wishes, prayers, love and jokes. I’ve been resting at home and am recovering well,” Balan tweeted on Monday morning.
The TE3N actress had recently returned to Mumbai after shooting for Kahaani 2 in the US.
A source said that she was diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease on Thursday and has been advised bed rest for the next 10-15 days by her doctor. She cancelled a scheduled appearance in Dubai on Saturday.
The actress will also be seen in Begum Jaan.
