Actor John Abraham says he is not planning to start a family just yet.
Abraham, who got married Priya Runchal in 2014, said that the thought of having children has crossed their mind several times.
“Right now, I’m just concentrating on setting my systems right in my workplace,” Abraham said in a statement.
“I have a football team — Northeast United FC — so [that is] one thing that I have on my head, and I have my production house, I also am doing films as an actor. So, there are lots of things happening right now in my life that are taking a lot of time,” he added.
“Once systems are in place, then you can look elsewhere. Right now, it’s just about getting those systems right,” Abraham said.
The Dhoom star was speaking during an appearance on The Tara Sharma Show, hosted by actress Tara Sharma.
Abraham also said that he thinks having children is a huge responsibility.
“You can’t plan too much but I think you must have children only if you’re ready to be a hands-on parent. Otherwise don’t have children. You need to have children if you want to have the joy of parenthood and you want to bring up someone with a lot of love and care,” he said.
