Doing complicated yoga poses isn’t for everyone, but Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez made it look like child’s play as she led a session in Dubai on Saturday morning.

“This is after 10 years of doing yoga,” Fernandez told Gulf News tabloid!. We were at the El Chiringuito beach club on The Palm and a few minutes before this interview Fernandez was doing the perfect bow pose and downward dog.

The Judwaa 2 star was in the UAE to promote her line of healthy drinks and soups, Raw Pressery, and a private exercise lesson was her way of kickstarting the publicity drive.

“I can’t think of a better way to start my day… There is no artificial sugars, which is a silent killer and now we also have soups, so I can end my day on a healthy note,” said Fernandez.

The former beauty queen revealed that she began exercising in earnest after she decided to compete in the Miss Sri Lanka pageant. She wasn’t sure if she would enjoy working out for a living.

“But there was something beautiful about exercising daily. Your mind gets involved along with your body,” said Fernandez. Her cheat meal? A slice of gluten-free pizza.

“The secret to cheat meals is that you should know when to stop,” said Fernandez, who grew up in Bahrain.

Not surprisingly, this English daily was a part of her growing up years.

“I grew up with you guys. Gulf News is a part of my childhood memories,” said Fernandez, with a shout-out to her mum who was likely to be watching the video on Gulf News.
