Gauhar Khan is the latest addition to Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
Dhawan shared the news with fans through an Instagram video featuring Bhatt, Khan and himself.
“Hello guys, we have one of the Khans joining the team of Badrinath ki Dulhania,” said Dhawana in the beginning of the short video.
Bhatt added, “And the lady Khan!”.
“These both are my favourites and I am so happy to be working with them,” said Khan.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is the second instalment in the romantic-comedy franchise, which began with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in 2014.
The film is being directed by Shashank Khaitan, who also directed the first movie; and produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner.
