Mumbai: Indian fans of Deepika Padukone were spoiled for choice on Monday when the action-packed trailer of her debut Hollywood film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, launched in four languages — English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Padukone plays a character named Serena Unger in the upcoming film, which sees Vin Diesel return as Xander Cage in the lead for the third part of the franchise. To the joy of many on Twitter, she retains an Indian accent in the English-language trailer.
The over one-minute long video sees Padukone performing high-octane stunts and exuding confidence while doing so, besides flirting with the hero.
The trailer also shows co-stars Tony Jaa, Samuel L. Jackson and Ruby Rose in action.

There had been speculation about the length of Padukone’s role in the film since its teaser was released a few months ago. Then, fans were left disappointed by her blink-and-miss appearance.
This trailer, however, comes as a relief for them as it features the 30-year-old actress prominently — more than Diesel, in fact.
Directed by DJ Caruso, the film releases on January 19 in the UAE.
