Curious to know who’s going to fight it out or bond like best pals in season 11 of Bigg Boss, the reality show hosted by Salman Khan?
The six chosen ones, a motley crew who have dabbled in television serials, anchoring shows and production, will walk into the Bigg Boss house and attempt to live peacefully under one roof.
They will also be on call to mingle with 12 other contestants, who are regular folk.
An elaborate set, spanning 1,802 square metres in Lonavala, has already been erected and will be their home for the next few weeks.
Designed by Omung Kumar, the house is filled with 90 cameras that track their every move. If the past seasons are any indication, drama and scandalous liaisons are never far behind as friendships and enmities develop.
Bollywood stars such as Varun Dhawan will also make an occasional cameo and mingle with the inmates to plug their film projects. Here’s a look at the contestants who made the final cut:
Hiten Tejwani
Claim to fame: Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb, and Pavitra Rishta.
Priyank Sharma
Claim to fame: Splitsvilla X winner.
Hina Khan
Claim to fame: She played Akshara in the hit TV series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and appeared in season eight of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Benafsha Soonawala
Claim to fame: She’s a popular VJ with MTV India.
Shilpa Shindey
Claim to fame: A prolific TV actress who has worked in serials including Do Dil Ek Jaan, Bhabhi Ji Gar Par Hai! and Lapataganj.
Vikas Gupta
Claim to fame: He’s the programming head of MTV and &TV,
