Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was recommended four cuts by the censor board including reduction of the duration of kissing scenes involving Anushka Sharma by half, according to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certificate that has surfaced online.

The romantic drama, set to release on October 27 in the UAE, has been given U/A certificate by the censor board.

The CBFC also asked for deletion of three dialogues along with visuals accompanying it.

The certificate shows that two additions have been made after the film’s examination — an antismoking scroll on scenes involving smoking and increased duration of the disclaimer of fiction.

The film is set for a nationwide release on its scheduled date of October 28 in India (October 27 in the UAE) with the MNS ending its protest against it’s release and the government extending its support to the film.
