Filmmaker Anurag Basu, whose movie Jagga Jasoos has not fared well at the box office, has sent out “hugs” to the detractors.
“Thank you so much for your love and appreciation for Jagga Jassos. It’s like oxygen for me right now. Tight hugs... And for those who disliked it, hugs for them too, [because] your rejection paves the way for my next and I promise I’ll try not to disappoint you [sic],” Basu tweeted.
Jagga Jasoos stars Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
In a recent interview to Mid-Day, Kapoor’s father and actor Rishi Kapoor lashed out at Basu for delaying the film, and called the director “irresponsible” with money and time.
