With two episodes left to air in its first season, the highly successful Will & Grace revival has been renewed for a third.

NBC has announced it has ordered an 18-episode third season for fall 2019. The network will also expand the number of episodes in next autumn’s season two from 13 to 18.

“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of Will & Grace,” said NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt in a news release. “I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received from the press and the audience.”

Starring Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally, the show’s revival began as a 10-minute, election-themed mini episode in fall 2016.

The success of the episode led to a 10-episode series order for a new season that began airing in September. The series’ original eight-season run ended in 2006.

The show’s current season has been averaging 9.8 million viewers overall, according to Nielsen figures. It is also NBC’s most-watched prime-time comedy in eight years.
