Shebab Sheyab, an Arabic comedy that follows four elderly men who live in a senior home until one of them inherits Dh50 million, will premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival 2018.

The Image Nation Abu Dhabi film stars Emirati actors Mansour Al Feeli and Marie Al Halyan, Syrian actor Salloum Haddad and Kuwaiti actor Sa’ad Al Faraj.

“After months of hard work, dedication and passion, it is amazing to see Shebab Sheyab debut on the international stage. I hope audiences enjoy watching it as much as we did making it,” said Al Feeli in a statement.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival takes place in California from January 2 to January 15.

Shebab Sheyab clearly demonstrates the wealth of talent we have in this region, both in front of and behind the camera,” said Ben Ross, head of narrative at Imagine Nation.

Rami Yasin (Zinzana, The Worthy) serves as the film’s producer, while Emirati director Majid Al Ansari (Zinzana) and Al Feeli are executive producers.

“I can’t wait for audiences to see it,” said director Yasir Al Yasiri.

Image Nation is a regional and international film production company in the UAE.
