Thaikkudam Bridge, the boy band from Kerala, will return to Dubai for a show on February 23 at Al Nasr Leisureland.

With an unusual name, the group literally banded together near Thaikkudam Bridge at Thaikkudam in Kochi in 2013 and first became famous through the musical show Music Mojo.

Later, they became a sensation with their composition Fish Rock through social media and YouTube.

The band comprises musicians from all over India evolving their own style and not conforming to any particular genre. They say they experiment with different genres and styles of singing to cater to a larger audience through folk, metal and rock. Their songs form an interesting medley with composition in Malayalam, Hindi and English as well making the band a multi-lingual ensemble.

The 15-member band includes artists, sound engineers and management staff. The band has completed more than 450 shows across the world in the last three years.

The foundation for the Bridge was laid by cousins Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon in their Kochi flat near the Thaikkudam Bridge. The band promises to rock Dubai with their music on Friday night. The show is being presented by S L Events.
