Dubai: Filipino acoustic band Make Your Momma Proud, more popularly known as MYMP, will return to Dubai on October 14 at Club of Asia in Wafi Pyramids for a concert dubbed Strictly Acoustic.
The band, composed of Chin Alcantara and Jana Laraza, has been active in the Philippine music industry since 2003.
The band’s career started to soar when a radio station manager in Manila saw one of their gigs and decided to produce their 2003 debut album, Soulful Acoustic, which has since been certified Platinum.
Many of the band’s original music have since become hits and MYMP is now considered one of the Philippine’s top acoustic bands.
