Don’t look back in anger, Oasis fans in the UAE: Liam Gallagher hasn’t forgotten about you. The Brit rocker will perform at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on November 10 as part of outdoor festival Party in the Park, according to organisers What’s On.
Gallagher, who in 1991 formed Oasis with brother Noel, has reportedly promised to sing Oasis classics for half of his headlining set. Hits such as Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova and Live Forever may be on the list.
The 44-year-old will release his debut solo record, As You Were, later this year. He last performed in Abu Dhabi in 2011 as part of his now defunct band Beady Eye.
Early bird tickets for Party in the Park, which go on sale tomorrow, will be Dh295; regular tickets will be Dh350, and Brunch Deck tickets, limited to those who are 21+, will be Dh650. VIP tickets, including unlimited food and beverages, will be Dh995.
