It’s not easy to be a chubby man in a world of size zeros. But Jeeveshu Ahluwalia is getting a laugh out of it. After 16 years with his nose to the conventional route, he quit his day job and dived head first into stand-up. Drawing from encounters with people who constant point out the obvious — ‘Did you know you are overweight?’ — to a mother who is desperate to see him married, Ahluwalia sets up a routine that will have you nod and giggle in equal measure.
