Dubai Opera will return with a second season of Music in the Studio, with six performances starting in January.
The shows will take place in Dubai Opera’s studio, for a more atmospheric and intimate feel.
Flautist Katherine Bryan and pianist Scott Mitchell kick off the series on January 24, performing Massenet, Debussy and more. Mexican guitarist Mauricio Diaz Alvarez performs works out of Spain and Latin America the following month, on February 21.
French chamber musicians Paul Meyer and Eric Le Sage, on clarinet and piano, will perform on March 21. Tenor Neil Latchman and pianist Amira Fouad will take the stage on April 25.
The penultimate show on May 2 will feature clarinettist Julian Bliss and pianist Julien Quentin, while the final performance on June 20 will be helmed by Bruno Vlahek and Dubravka Vukalovic — two players on one piano.
Tickets are priced Dh150 for each performance; a special season pass to all performances is Dh600. Four performances can be attended for Dh450, through a regular season pass.
