Dubai: The cold mornings may not be over just yet as weather forecasters expect temperature to start dropping on Monday, with scattered clouds, winds and rough seas in the Arabian Gulf.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that the weather on Sunday will be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times, with light southeasterly-northeasterly winds blowing across the country.
The wind speed will reach up to 32km/h in coastal and mountain areas, and 30km/h in internal areas.
The temperature will range from 14-31C in coastal areas, 15-35C in internal areas, and 13-23C in the mountain region.

However, residents can look forward to colder weather on Monday as the NCM said that winds will pick up, which are associated with a gradual fall in temperatures.
By Tuesday, the UAE will have “stronger winds, associated with a significant fall of temperatures,” according to the NCM.
Clouds are expected to increase in scattered areas, especially over the islands and coastal areas.
“The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation,” said the NCM in its weather forecast.
The UAE’s Storm Centre posted a satellite photo of the total accumulated precipitation from February 17 to 26, 2018, with the caption: “Fairer weather and some rain is expected at the beginning of next week, and will continue for several days. Details of the weather forecast will be published in the next few days.”

The sea will be rough in the Arabian Gulf, while mild-moderate waves will affect the Oman Sea.
