Show sectors

The show is divided into sectors to make navigating it simpler. Sectors include:

Manufacturers European car exhibitors include Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Fiat, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Mini Cooper, Opel, Peugeot, Porsche, Rolls Royce and Volkswagen with Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC and RAM representing North America.

Asian manufacturers will be well represented at the 2015 show with  Chery, DFM,  GAC, Hyundai, JAC, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SAIC, and Toyota.

Boulevard of Dreams If supercars and the world of the exotic are your thing, then take a stroll along the Boulevard of Dreams. It will be like taking a walk through Floyd Mayweather Junior’s garage – just slightly less tacky. Companies already confirmed include Panoz, Spania GT, David Brown, Equus, Alvis, Top Car, UAE Roadster, and more.

Trikes, bikes, and quads Not everything at DIMS has four wheels, you know. Some only have two, and some have three! Bikers and extreme sports lovers won’t want to miss this zone.

Commercial light vehicles For the first time in its history, DIMS will be showcasing the latest light commercial vehicles, ideal for fleet managers and those looking to ferry their staff around.

Tune and style UAE motorists have a fondness for customization, and tuning workshops are a strong business to get involved with. Check out some of the latest tricks from some of the best tuners.

Motor living If you bleed petrol and go to bed each night making “brum brum” car noises, then you – but maybe not your husband or wife – may be interested in car-related furniture? Sofas, beds, fridges… you name it.

Finance and insurance It may not be the most glamourous part of the show, but unless you’re richer beyond the dreams of Avarice you will need financing. And, no matter how rich you are, insurance is a must, whoever you are.

What to do

Visiting DIMS isn’t all about walking around the stands, stroking your chin sagely and commenting on how owning a Hyundai is no longer social death, while hoping to catch the eye of a comely hostess; there are activities on hand, too.

Motoring nostalgia Take a trip in a time-machine – or an old DeLorean DM-12 if you can find one – and visit the cars of yesteryear. You are not a true petrol-head unless you spend at least an hour checking out all the old Jags and Austin-Healys.

Womens' day Yep, women like cars too, boys. Deal with it. And to cater to what women want from their cars, DIMS will be laying on some relevant events.

Manufacturer experiences Jaguar, Land Rover, and Toyota will be offering experiences of their latest models on-site at DWTC.

James Bond 007 – SPECTRE: The cars SPECTRE is now out in cinemas, and with the hype around the film it’s only natural that you’ll want to see the Bond cars from the latest installment. Catch a glimpse of the Aston Martin DB10, the bespoke Land Rover Defender, and the Jaguar C-X75.

Bikers’ arena Motorcyclists are well-catered for at DIMS, so get together in the Bikers’ Lounge and meet fellow two-wheeled friends.

Drift King, Ken Block Want to meet one of the best rally and stunt drivers of a generation? Of course you do, and Ken Block will be drifting around – is that a pun or isn’t it, you tell us.

RTA number plate auction Bored of you anonymous five-digit plate? Want to spend vast sums of money of a four, three, two or, gulp, one-digit number plate that perhaps has a meaning to you? Maybe not, but it’s worth watching who does!

Street Meet Check out details about the DIMS Street Meet. It’s a gathering of those who have customised their cars and want to show them off a bit.

Visit and win The usual round of competitions have been organised, with the chance to win 2016 Mazda MX-5 roadster, a Dell 5000 series, and a trip to Switzerland.
