When you oversleep, it's not the end of the world. However for punctual people, the feeling is horrible. A minute late is still tardy, and being late is something they simply cannot deal with.

Here are the struggles punctual people deal with.

1. They leave on the dot

They leave at the exact time every single time, especially here in Dubai. They leave at exactly 6.38am because it takes them precisely 8 minutes to walk to the station to catch the Metro that leaves at exactly 6:46am and so they can take the bus that arrives at 7:10am at the next station.

They were the first to have Wohjati installed on their phones.

2. They have timelines

Timeline

They do have specific timelines for each task. For example, they know it takes them two minutes to make coffee, 12 minutes to shower, 5 minutes to do their hair or makeup and a minute walk to the door.

They also know which part of their routine needs to be dropped in case they overslept for 3 minutes.

3. They are always prepared

Wait

They always carry something to read, a game to play or a specific playlist to listen to. This is in case they are early and have to wait for the tardy friends.

4. They have two to three alarms set

They make a concious decision of setting up more alarms every morning in case they hit stop instead of snooze on the first one. They even check their phone alarms are working in the middle of the night.

5. They have meltdowns

Meltdown

They feel tortured when they do not leave at the established time with their friends. Get ready for a total meltdown when the early bird has already set his or her mind up to leave precisely seven minutes ago.

6. They certainly move fast

That is because they have already planned a range of tasks to complete as they walk.

7. They always have a plan B

They do not rant when the car or the bus breaks down. They just know that it should not be an excuse to be late. There is nothing they can do about the flat tire or the heavy traffic, but there is an alternate route or medium of transportation available in case that happens.

8. They hate slow walkers

Hate slow walkers

Well, everyone does to be honest. If it doesn't affect you, then you're probably a slow walker. Speed up or move to the side.

9. They are early birds

Early

They show up 10 minutes or earlier at parties or meetings.

10. They are always anxious

Anxious

They are also human and at most times wish they could just stop fussing and worrying about time. They feel having panic attacks at some point and feel weak when time is out of their control.
