This weekend is going to be a busy one y'all.


Fireworks and more for Diwali

Bollywood Parks Dubai has a special treat for all Bollywood fans as Mika Singh will be performing live at 10pm on October 20. Rooh, a UAE-based band that specialises in various genres such as Bollywood, Sufi, Punjabi and Western music, will open for Mika Singh.

Complementing this, the park will be adorned with coloured lights and showcase live dance performances and fountains shows. Guests will be spoilt for choice at the Diwali Bazaar which features Indian food and a variety of gift shops. The finale of the Diwali weekend will be a spectacular firework display on October 19 at 9pm and at midnight on the 20th October.

Dubai Fitness Challenge kicks off at Safa Park

We have been talking, literally, of nothing else and everyone in the emirate is gearing up to try and squeeze in 30 minutes of activity daily for 30 days for DFC. There are many free classes you can sign up for once you register and join the challenge. This weekend will kick off the challenge with a fitness carnival, all about which you can read here.

Couqley’s Family Fun Weekends

On Fridays and Saturdays the cosy French bistro Couqley is hosting a family fun weekend. The restaurant will be teaming up with the award-winning children’s magician, columnist and radio presenter Magic Phil. As well as Mr. Adie, a magical entertainer and balloonist.  Both kids and adults will be entertained by magic tricks and balloon bending skills. And of course, the show is never complete without food! Couqley’s newly designed corner for little ones, Petit Couqley, offers an area where children can eat, play, run, and be free while parents enjoy their lunch too.
