The newly relaunched art hub smack dab in the centre of Saadiyat Cultural District is brimming with a public events calendar mixed with dance, art, music, comedy, sport, leisure, food and more.

1. From Barcelona to Abu Dhabi: Works from the MACBA Art Collection in Dialogue with the Emirates
Check out an international visual arts exhibition in Dialogue with works from Emirati Artists – From Barcelona to Abu Dhabi: Works from the MACBA Art Collection in Dialogue with the Emirates.
The expansive exhibition showcasing over 100 works, by more than 70 artists, including 20 Emirati practitioners, from over nine decades. The show is divided into 3 categories, Figure, Environment, and Form, exploring the universal theme of the human condition.
The MACBA collection, brought over in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Festival, is one of the most significant in Southern Europe and is displayed on black floors, with works by the Emirati artists on white floors. This is one exhibition not to miss.

2. Full Moon Lunar Observation by Al Sadeem Astronomy
One especially for the kids and budding astronauts! This monthly event explores the skies and teaches you about the life cycles of stars. Stand under the stars and learn about the constellations through their monthly full moon lunar observation.

3. Open mic night at Music Jams
A platform for established and amateur bands alike, if you want to perform, or listen to local musicians, come on down to the weekly jam session.

4. Try your hand at painting and drawing at Art Studio
Art Studio’s range of workshops are specially designed for each age group and for all levels of ability. Timed workshops are led by teaching artists and explore a variety of techniques, styles and themes. Workshops are designed as stand-alone sessions or part of a bigger series. Each time you come, you’ll find new things to learn. Prior booking at least 24 hours in advance is required for all workshops.

5. 10 Years of Emirates Photography Competition
An exhibition showcasing the best work from the 10 years of Emirates Photography Competition. A plethora of beautiful photos and an insight into the unique locally based talent.
6. Try out Italian food at LARTE
The LARTE project is a concept from the heart of Milan. Larte is offers a top-quality Italian hospitality experience with various in house promotions served alongside the arts, fashion and design. Highlights include world-class coffee from the Illy Café concept, along with Italian and European breakfast, lunch and dinner favourites. Cakes, pastries and desserts are also available all day.

7. Take up parkour
