A lot can happen in a week. Just in case you’ve missed anything, we’ve selected our top picks of trendy stories that you need to know about. With this guide, you won’t ever have to resort to awkward small talk about the weather again.

1. The Google Halloween Game

We love Google’s doodles. This one follows the story of a young kitty cat named Momo who is on a mission to rescue her school of magic. Players are supposed to help her get rid of the evil spirits by swiping in the shape of the symbols above the ghosts’ heads. Play it right here!

2. New information about Amelia Erhart

Over 70 years have gone by since the fateful afternoon of July 2, 1937 when Earhart took off in a twin-engine Lockheed Electra along with navigator Fred Noonan for a circumnavigational flight of the globe, only to disappear from the radar forever. New evidence discovered by the International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery, https://tighar.org/ has come to light, showing that the famed pilot may have died as a castaway on an uninhabited pacific island, when the bones discovered there matched her height and ethnicity. Stay tuned for more.

3. Flower grandpa stole the show

His name is Stanley and at 85 years old, he may just be the world's very first ever ‘flower grandpa’. His granddaughter asked him to walk down the aisle with a basket of flowers, he complied and naturally stole the show. Forget doughnut walls and dancing down the aisle. There seems to be a new wedding trend in town.

The supermodel has outdone herself this Halloween by making four other women look just like her. She didn’t just make them dress like her, she actually gave each of them facial prosthetics so that they can become her Klum clones.

5. The Obamas celebrate their last Halloween in the white house

The President and his first lady had an awesome Halloween bash this week. The couple welcomed around 4,000 people, mostly made up of elementary school kids and children of military veterans, for a special day of trick-or-treating on the lawns of the White House. POTUS and FLOTUS handed out candy, cookies and fruit bars. It was a thrilling day.
