The debut of Criss Angel’s brand new Mindfreak Live! arena show in Dubai has been postponed.
The 90-minute show was going to be held at the Hamdan Sports Complex between November 12-14, but a press release stated that due to the magnitude of the show, the venue could not be prepped and outfitted in time. New dates have yet to be confirmed. Organisers have assured full refunds and ticket-buyers have already been contacted.
“I was, and am still, very much looking forward to bringing my brand new arena spectacular to Dubai and the UAE,” Angel said in the release. “It’s disappointing that we were not able to accomplish that for this Fall, but both myself and Done Events will only put on a show that is top-notch. I’d rather sacrifice time to make sure I am giving the market the absolute best show possible.”
Thomas Ovesen, COO of Done Events, called the situation “regrettable”.
“We are working on alternative dates at this time, and will happily announce those as soon as we are able,” he said.
